It may be hard to believe, but even super-tough Doosan machines need a little TLC once in a while. Over time, parts wear out and need to be replaced. That’s just a fact of shop life. Hopefully, you’ll discover any imminent failure during a routine Preventive Maintenance check, but even if a malfunction catches you by surprise, the Doosan Parts Department will have you up and running in no time – no matter how old your machine might be.

Of course, not all of our parts requests are for repairs. New machines are sold daily and may require optional features to be installed. Our customers may also want to upgrade their existing equipment with available retrofit options for ease of operation and/or production speed. Great idea. Automatic door kits, part catchers, and steady rests are just a few examples of popular additions. We’re always ready to assist with these situations, as well.

Huge Inventory Guarantees Fast Delivery

We maintain a 6-month stock level supply of the most common parts for over 330 Doosan models. That’s tens of thousands of parts. Why so many? Our Parts Department receives 200 to 300 emails a day, not to mention numerous phone calls (TIP: we prefer emails since it creates a record). More than 200 parts are shipped across the USA, Mexico, Canada, Central, and South America from our New Jersey stock room on a daily basis. Around 93% of those are in stock for same-day shipment. Another 4% are shipped same-day from our headquarters in South Korea. That’s 97% globally.

Here’s how we do it. If you get an order into us by 5:30 p.m. Eastern Time, a replacement part can be on its way the same day. As the workday ends in the USA, headquarters is going to work. We place a call to South Korea every day at 6 p.m. for parts that are out of stock in New Jersey. We confirm the availability of those components, and they have them prepped for shipment by 12 p.m. Korea Time.

High-Tech Tracking

Fast doesn’t help if you don’t get the right part. For your peace of mind after the sale, we have a series of electronic channels that are dedicated to supporting your Doosan machine after installation.

For machines built since 2008, our Global Engineering Parts System allows the Doosan Parts Department and distributors to input the machine and serial number and tell us what part originally came with the machine. For machines built before 2008, the CS Tip Portal lets us download manuals, spare parts lists, and drawings for a particular machine. There’s also the Dealer Parts Portal, which distributors can access, that shows what parts are in stock here in the States and South Korea, as well as provide technical information on a particular part number.

Our parts ordering system is integrated with engineering documentation to ensure the correct component is shipped. If a part for your model Doosan has been upgraded, you’ll receive the latest version automatically.

A Dedicated Parts Team

There’s more to ordering parts than just having all this documentation readily available. Stress levels rise when a machine is down and the line is backing up. You’ll be happy to know that we have a whole team of professionals in our Parts Department that work with our distributors and Service Department. This human element is essential for correctly identifying the right part and expediting delivery from our warehouse in New Jersey or our factory in South Korea right to your shop floor. Even if your question is about a non-Doosan product, they can point you to the proper resource.

Always on Standby

We carry over 48 million sales value parts in our inventory. It’s worth the expense because we hate downtime just as much as you do. We will do everything we can to keep it to the bare minimum and keep your production levels high.
