GROB In-House Exhibition 2022 – The world of machining and electromobility, live at GROB

291

After a mandatory break of several years due to COVID-19, GROB-WERKE will be providing again a look behind the scenes at the headquarters in Mindelheim at their in-house exhibition from May 3rd to 6th, 2022. Their comprehensive range of technologies and machines will be shown in one place to an extraordinary extent. More than 50 co-exhibitors and partners will also present their wide range of current technologies and innovations to the visitors.

For twelve years now, it has been a GROB tradition to hold the in-house exhibition every two years at the headquarters in Mindelheim. A tradition that unfortunately could not be maintained due to the COVID-19 pandemic and had to be substituted by two virtual in-house exhibitions in 2020 and 2021. Despite two very successful digital exhibitions, which made it possible to bring customers and interested parties closer to the GROB world virtually, it is now all the more gratifying that the GROB in-house exhibition from May 3rd to 6th, 2022 can finally take place live again.

In-House Exhibition in new dimensions

The centerpiece and venue of the in-house exhibition will be the Technology and Application Center (TAC) in Hall 9. With additional hall space, the exhibition area could be expanded by a further 50 percent to do justice to the largest variety of GROB technologies and products ever shown. This includes all versions of all GROB universal machining centers from the 4-axis and 5-axis range. In addition, system machines such as the classic G-Module and a G520F from the F-Series, which is one of the largest machines GROB has ever shown at an exhibition, will be on display. The G520F was specially designed and developed by the GROB designers for machining lightweight components such as structural frame components and chassis parts, but also battery housings.

The other live exhibits also include the complete range of automation solutions, which stand for even more flexibility with their versatility and individuality. In the field of additive manufacturing, the new Liquid Metal Printing System GMP300 will also be shown for the first time and will thus be celebrated at the major premiere at the 2022 in-house exhibition. In addition, highlights from the electromobility area will be presented with numerous exhibits and the areas of GROB-NET4Industry, GROB service, the quality checked used machines, and the customer training will also be integrated into the exhibition.

Specialist lectures, company tours and partners

In the presentation area, lectures by GROB experts on a wide variety of topics will take place throughout the exhibition. Both the wide range of services and the latest developments in the field of digitalization will be presented, including the GROB-NET4Industry software solution specially developed by GROB. Traditionally, there will also be an exhibition area for more than 50 co-exhibitors and partners who will present their products from the areas of tools, clamping devices, CAM programming, controls, and measuring systems, among other things. Exciting factory tours through the GROB production halls will top off the program and give visitors a glimpse behind the scenes and into the dynamic development of GROB-WERKE.
