Programming Simplicity will be Hurco’s theme for Southern Manufacturing 2022

Hurco will be showcasing the very latest software developments available on the Max5 control. The 19“ colour touch-screen control has always been very popular, because of the ease with which a first-off part can be programmed. In addition, the latest Solid Model Import option will be demonstrated, capable of reducing programming time even further.

Hurco will be showing their 2 most compact and popular machines at Southern Manufacturing. The versatile Hurco VM10i machining centre with a working volume of 660 x 406 x 508 mm. Fitting into a very compact space, visitors will be impressed by the ability of this machine to offer true machining centre performance. Steel cutting demonstrations will take place through the duration of the show.

Sharing equal prominence on the stand will be a Hurco TM6i 2-axis CNC lathe. It turns parts up to 316mm in diameter, 340mm long, and is well suited to bar work up to 45mm diameter. The performance of this compact, accurate turning machine is complemented by the Max5 control. Simple, easy-to-follow graphics guide the user through all operations and tooling selection. The new XP model enhancements mean that concurrent programming, improved graphics and roller guideways are now standard feature.

The slant-bed lathe is supplied as standard with a 6-inch hydraulic three-jaw chuck, parts catcher, swarf conveyor and vouchers for MacInnes coolant and lubricants, plus £500 worth of Dormer Pramet tooling.
