Makino’s J-Series Horizontal Machining Centers are designed to be the core of the high volume, flexible CNC-based machining lines. They feature the combination of a stacked axis design and single table configuration while promoting highly efficient chip removal from the machining area.
Technical Specification
The J6 family of HMC’s is designed specifically around machining of near-net-shape, non-ferrous workpieces, with a compact floor layout, in three kinematic variations. Two four-axis J6’s are offered, with either an A-axis or a B-axis; and one five-axis J6 is also offered, with a B over A-axis configuration. True three-point leveling allows for quick machine installation and long-term stability of equipment alignments.
